Richmond Hill Historical Society & Museum

Formerly the Henry Ford Kindergarten, the “Richmond Hill Historical Society & Museum” is successfully accomplishing its goal of educating the community of this small town’s rich, diverse history. The Historical Society’s museum is housed in a building built in 1940 by automobile hero, and local resident, the late Henry Ford and was originally used for a kindergarten. It now serves as a living history lesson, as the museum offers tours, a gift shop, numerous displays and artifacts, and local lunch-and-learn events. March through October, the Historical Society hosts the community favorite first Saturday event “Cars and Coffee” from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m, featuring unique, rare, and even antique cars on the museum grounds.
